Washington Butler is a Puyallup native who was fascinated by arts and culture from an early age. She was a singer in choirs, entered contests for singing and also performed in schools and in community theatre. Monroe was launched in October of 2010. Butler began filming The Stranger Within, a psychological drama The Stranger Within alongside Estella Warren and William Baldwin in Mallorca Spain during November of 2011. The plan was to shoot in Copenhagen Denmark, New York City and New York City as well. Butler played featured in The Demented (2013), that was written and directed by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
