Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens first met in 2020 during Raya, the Olympic gold medallist who began the friendship through Jonathan's DMs. While Biles was too young to compete at Olympic competition in the Olympics until 2012, Biles became a member of the senior national team in March 2013 when she reached sixteen. The medals she won came at competitions at Jesolo in Italy as well as Chemnitz and Chemnitz in Germany. Simone Biles Owens married Jonathan Owens for the second time at a destination ceremony in Mexico. Vogue says the couple were married in Cabo on May 6, 2012. The couple attended their wedding at a resort with 144 guests. This was just two weeks after they had their private Houston courthouse wedding on the 22nd of April. After declaring "I will" in the Texas courthouse in April of 2023, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens celebrated their marriage once again with their second ceremony. Page Six reports that on May 6 2023, the Olympic Gymnast and NFL Star tied the knot at Cabo, Mexico.
